'Kosher Wisdom' series

The series of works are devoted to reflection on the themes of Jewish wisdom and spiritual component of Jewish life. The Jewishness is a kind of practical wisdom, a certain pattern of behaviour and relationships with the community. In Judaism there are many components, but one of the most important is the food, as it brings a special meaning and plays a crucial role in the definition of national identity and belongings to the Jewish faith. In every Jewish holiday, are certain dishes that are directly related to the historical context and reflect on the essence of a holiday. This kind of symbolism connects the spiritual components and material needs and desires, thus creating a unique relationship. In the paintings there are certain elements, on the basis of which compositions are constructed, embodying the perception of the topic. Another important component in the works is the colour, as it refers to the memoirs of a Jewish childhood.
